No the whole gear and springs and all that.. it came out of the case.. Im trying to fiqure out where the Spring hooks on to the case

 

the spring that is long goes in this hole and the other spring piece the is smaller goes in a groove that has sides to it

 

Is that hole up near the top?? I was trying to tell my dad that but he keep telling me that it was wrong.. and when i tried to put the cover on it wouldnt work.. is the spring going to be toward the back of the motor or where? I would really like ot see a pic...

yes the longer of the 2 spring parts sticking out goes in the hole at the top. and the other spring piece goes to the right hand side.

 

Ive been trying to get it in that damn hole for almost 2 hours now.. every time i put them damn thing in it slides out.. or its in there some and it pops out when i try to slide the side cover on.. This thing is pissing me off so much im thinking of selling the damn thing :lol: But i dont think i could do that after all the junk ive bought for it.

 

God, I got it together.. wroked good.. Got it starting rode it for like 5ft then the plug fouled out (no idle screw in the carb) but atleast i know it runs now... And now my kick start wont return.. the damn thing poped right back out.. Im thinking something has to be messed up on the damn thing.

 

yeah it shouldn't be doing that. Oh well at least you know it moves now.

 

when i had my blaster(YFZ now)we had this problem.....there is a little white plastic pice on the backside of the spring. the spring notch on the inside must be in there if it is not that is your problem.

 

I have also had this problem.Once it pops out,no matter how many times you put it back in it will pop out again.Once it is out,it is messed up and not worth fixing.I just get a stylish bunge cord"many colors to pick from" and then run one hook from the kickstarter to the front of the frame.If you take the front right fender off then put the cord on then put the fender back on'you cant really notice it since the fender hides it.I have a red one on mine now :hey:

 

My buddy just reaches down and pulls it up. He went as far as buying a new spring. And it worked about 3 times before unhooking again.

I ended up breaking the torsion spring when I tried putting it together. I put a new one in and have had no problems with it.

IMO,yes.They dont rattle around enough to notice anyway when up without a spring.You just have to reach down and bring it back up after you kick it over everytime.No biggie though :hey:
