Carb jetting

Hi, my raptor has 146/148 main jets and 22.5 pilots and the needle clip is on the 3 groove. I want to run no air box lid but ever time I remove it, it bogs when full throttle. I tried moving the needle clip to the forth and fifth groove but just gets worse I need advice please.

removing the lid makes it lean you will need to go up on both the mains and the pilots. how much depends on your machine and any other mods. i would start with a 150/152 and the next size up on the pilots. and see how it runs

Don't use the clip method. Just replace the jets. With the air cleaner delete you will need something a little bigger than 165.

Main Jet: Right 165, Left 160
Pilot Jets: 22.5 (both carbs) --> stock jetting is 22.5 ---supposedly when the pipe is changed and the K&N air filter you need to run #25 pilots.
