lol ...oops...i bought a 11 tooth but i might like it...i got a ti-series sidewinder chain and a ti-moly rear sprocket (stock gearing) they dont make the orange cool looking sidewinder, tri-metal, sprocket for the yamaha sprocket hub :s96: but ...ohh well its all good..the ti-moly supost to be better...lighter and what not ...anyways...what do you thinks gonna happen after i get the 11 tooth front sprocket? u think im gonna be shifting ALOT or not really..i dont have enough room to even get in to 4th now so top end isnt that big a deal...13tooth is stock right? ...right now im stayin in 3rd but barly...like when i go in to the sharp turns i could go down to 2nd but anways...how dramatic is the shifting after you change the sprocet size...u think ill be in 4th or maybe even 5th compared to being in 2nd and 3rd? lol thanks guys...

ps its not that big a deal...if i dont like it i can just buy a diff one...their only like 15$

:scared: ur going to be shifting so much, there is no point, ur not going to get any power to the ground cause u will be shifting, jsut cause ur not getting into top gear dosent mean u need a gearing change, u need to set the gears so that u have one that u can ride in, and by the sounds of things 3rd worked befor, well nor it is going to be 5th...and ur going to have to shift way way more, and 1st gear will be usless, no way ull need it that low, u will be able to start in 2nd more then easy now...cause i always found it easy and race that way any way.

actually i found a gearing down makes wheelying harder because you have to keep shifting with it up I had my stock 13 with 20" tires and could lift them easy in 3rd but it would wind out so fast i could only hold it for like 5 seconds and yes you will be shifting to much and if you plan on racing or anything shifting alot isnt a very good idea because you get worn out fast. When I race the only thing i think about really is shifting and what gear im in and having to shift alot doesnt help me out much.

They don't come with instructions, but it's not that tough. The plates themselves don't have to be lined up, it's the inner and outer bosses. They have to be lined up. Just make scratch across the two with a screwdriver or something before you take them apart, so you know how they realign, and it'll be a piece of cake.

im not getting the sprocket changed so i can do wheelies any easyer im doing just for a change and so that i could have some more acceleration...but if it cost me having to shift ALOT more then its prob not worth it... ohh well...just an extra front in case something goes wrong and i wonta have something to fall back on while the new one gets ordered :) ...i might MIGHT order the noss stearing stabilizer next week too so hopefully that a be cool....  :hey:
