I picked up a 2007 450 wolverine almost a year ago. The guy i bought it off said the new battery in it was faulty or something was drawing power while it was shut off. He suspected it was the winch. Anyways i have spent the whole time ive had it doing a mild restore on it. Usual stuff, fluids, air filter, brakes, diff seals etc. I put a new battery in as well. This atv runs and rides really nice, and im very happy with it. But if it sits for a week the battery dies. Now im not sure if its a faulty new battery or if it really does have some kind of drain in it when its not being used. Any ideas where to start looking? Forgot to say i removed the winch and all the wiring for it.

Mine just started the same crap. I suspect voltage regulator or stator. Unplug you regulator and see if it does the same. I haven't gotten to this step. I unplugged my winch and same.
