87MM is .120 over which has to be resleeved and the cases bored just like we do when we build a 435 stroker. JE only makes piston 4 at a time and when you make a piston that big on a warrior, big bear 350 it is very hard on the rod. The kodiak, big bear 400 have a longer but weaker rod and will have bigger problems with rods breaking. The pistons used in the 435/446 (86/87mm) are 2 oz. lighter than a stock piston and 4 oz. lighter than a 10.25 wiseco and are real easy on the rod.

="nicko"]the bore is exactly the same, 83mm. the stroke is the difference and i looked it up to find that the big bear crank is totally different than a warrior, additionally the bore is only 386 i think, you may be able to get there with just a bore, it would have to be 87mm or about .080 over and that would put you at about 383 and you could have je make you a piston for it so you would probably be looking at 10.75 compression. all of that and it wouldnt kill your revability like the longer stroke would[/quote]
