Raptor by a long shot...good luck getting that out of a 450 and the cost is roughly $3000 or so.

Not 'easy' on either bike. Expensive on the Raptor, but very doable. I should be around there when my 770's finished. The YFZ450 ? I hope you got a BIG budget if you want to get anywhere near 80.

Why 80 anyway ? Seems kinda odd to shoot for a certain number when you're not even talking about a specific bike. Suppose you could take it to Trinity, they should read close to 70hp on a big 3 bike :lmao:

the highest hp 450 that I have actualy seen the dyno chart was only 68 and 42flbs of torque. can't remember what all it had into it. I know it was board and stroked had a edlbrock carb and alot of head work. $$$$$$$$$ I saw alot of quick 450 but like I said thats the highest one I've seen charted I would go with a rapter if I remember right they are almost at 60 from the show room correct??

Thats because the 450 engines are hotrods from the factory. Better compression, better cam profiles, better cylinder head designs in stock form than the 700 engines. Once you do the things the 450s have from the factory to the 700s they spit out 70hp or so.
A 80hp 700 Raptor(stock bore and stroke) will be able to be ridden everyday without a second thought with longevity were a 80hp 450(based) engine will be a hand grenade that will go off, its just a matter of time.

I bet my stock Can Am DS 450 could be brought in the 70's easily. It smokes Piped YFZ's all day. It runs not far behind my Outlaw. I call it my Serial killer lol

Yea..good luck with that...its not "easy" to get any 450 into the 70's, and from my experience the DNF 450 (did not finish) is the slowest of them all...well maybe except for the KFX.

We know, we know, any bike you have is the fastest out there and smokes everything else... blah blah blah... I'm sure it COULD be brought up to 70hp easily, just dump $5k into it :lmao: You should stop writing everything out every time you post, seems to me you could get by with a simple copy/paste seeing as how all your posts are the same... 'My ____ smokes bikes x, y, and z all day, blah blah blah...' :whatever:

your so damn stupid, no way in hell your gonna squeeze 70 horses out of a DS 450, those peices of shit blow up with a pipe on it. lol its not gonna handle any amount of major modding, not to mention NO ONE makes the parts for it to add any serious horses.

and id love to see the dyno that gave your outlaw over 50...
