Hey all... New here. I picked up a warrior for dirt cheap because the motor is blown up. I bought all the replacement parts but the crankcase i have doesn't look too good inside. The piston grenaded and took out a chunk of aluminum inside the case. What exactly does this little passage do? It's directly behind the oil pump. I'm having a hell of a time finding a used case for cheap. Plenty of other models, but ones for the warrior are high dollar ($250+). There are also plenty of right side case halves for the warrior. I'm assuming all the left halves bit the dust due to a chain failure?
Anyhow, hello, and who knows about these crankcases?

The damage can be seen below where the crankshaft goes.

Ive owned one of these 350s for years. Mustve had a total of 2 oil changes in its life to nuke itself. There are ATV junkyards around the country that might be able to find you a crankcase. My service manual is at my house and ill be back tomorrow if no one can find out what that galley is about.
Best of luck
