I have a stock 2000 Yamaha Warrior 350XM. When I purchased this quad it was extraordinarily "clean" for 20 yrs. After replacement of junk eBay carb with OEM Makuni. And eBay Stator it runs great. You could visibly see orange RTV on Head Seal as if recently rebuilt. Awesome right? Well yea, except she leaks oil from somewhere. Pictures included. 1st. Shows suspected area of leak. 2nd shows where it tends to pool. 3rd shows where it runs. Any ideas? And how difficult is it to simply replace head gasket seals? I do have Clymer Manuel but I'd like some real world info thanks.

If you are talking about the area with the rtv thats the timing chain adjuster just replace the rtv with the proper gasket. Head gasket is about a 5 out of 10 on the difficulty level if you need to go there you should be able to do it with the engine in the frame. My guess is its that timing chain adjuster and valve cover seals. If the head gasket leaked like that it would run bad
