ok I am completly new to the sound world. I want to but a little boom boom in the ole quad cab. I found a box that hides under the rear seat.

Question 1 whats is a good set of SUBS? size will be 10in.

question 2 what am will I need to push the 10in subs?

I am not looking for a lot of bass, I lwant to crank it up and ge a good sound.. Not distorted...

Also looking for componets (SP?)

You will get so many different opinions on this basicly whatever they have they will say is the best. Go to a Car place and ask them and tell them exactly what you want.

if i was you i would get a nice deck if you dont already have one and get either some nice MTX subs with a coustic amp or get a whole coustic setup i know lots of people with coustic subs with there amps and they rock the ground but they are very clear and i fyou dont want to much bass you can tune them a down a little but those are the 2 best brand i think :shrug: there is some other good ones but those would be my #1 choice :nod:

i have the same setup in my truck, but 12's instead of 10's. best sounding system I have ever installed. Anything i decent, just stay away from any cheap brands, or anything CHROME/flashing lights. Seems to me that auidobahn is the new trend, wow what CRAP, stay away from it.

Agree just stay away from flash.I have 2 w6 12's and before had w4-d4 12's, along with fosgate,pioneer, kicker in the past. My friends have w3's, one with 2 12'and one with 2 10's, Just my opinion but JL Audio are some of the best subs and amps made. :kickass:
