Bought a 2006 Raptor 350 recently. Stock other than a slip on pipe. Have only ridden it up and down the road a couple times before tonight. Tonight my wife and I went out for a ride and she drove the Raptor first. She was going slow and keeping the RPMs up a little but nothing bad. I drove after about 10 minutes and I got on it a little bit and putted around a bit as well. Once the engine was nice and warm I started to notice it backfire and then slowly over the course of about a mile it started bogging down and eventually died on me. Waited about 5 minutes and then it started up and at that point I just loaded into the back of my truck and went home. What is the first thing I should check?

Did you check to make sure it's not the parking brake sensor triggering the CDI to kick in the rev limiter? Also float level can cause it to bog down if it's not allowing the carb to fill sufficiently when you get on the throttle.
