A friend of mine just bought an 05 Raptor, and for him, I am asking you all what is the best pipe out for a Raptor? Thanks in advance!

Type in pipe, or exhaust under the search function and you will find gobs of info. Then he can decide what's most important to him when picking out a pipe.

Yea ive already typed in Raptor pipes and it gave me 507 pages of stuff not even directly related to Raptor pipes. Thats why im asking! I just need to know which would be good for wide open desert rides and hill climbing.

Im not asking for an entire in depth conversation here, just the names of the 3 top pipes. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks man! I just read the "Everything you need to know about Raptor bolt on mods" by "Freez" and liked dyno results of the Pro Circuit exhaust system. I am a dealer for a couple of different distribution companies and I can get the Pro Circuit exhaust systems for a decent price. But I didnt know how well it stood up as compared to some of the others.

I didnt want to sell it to my friend if there was something A LOT better out there that he could buy...

A friend in the quads,
Jose

From the looks of the dyno blowout posted on CT's site it looks like Yoshimura TEC 5A (cant read it clear, correct if I am wrong) is the best. Better power under the curve, and smooth delivery. CT is close too and peaks a little higher. It comes preference on deciding between those two. They both seem very good choices.

I have a full Yosh Comp system and I couldn't be happier with it. I installed a Pro-Flow kit with an EHS lid along with a DynoJet kit. It is a dramatic improvement over stock, it sounds great, and with the medium TEC insert, it's not loud enough to get screwed with by the DNR. I would definitely recommend the same set-up. I have nothing to compare it to, but I am really happy with it.

Ct produces a little more power than all but the sparks pipe and is still adjustable w/ the discs. The yosh has different tec inserts but they are additional costs and you have to do more to change them than the CT which just needs the turn of a few allen head screws.

I've heard great things about the duncan pipe, but never seen one in action. LRD makes a good closed course pipe too.

The ct isnt as loud as the sparks with all of the discs in either, actually quite a bit quieter. I've passed 3 Forestry tests with a ct w/ all 16 discs in. Our limit here is about 96db.
