I have a 2005 raptor 660 and all of a sudden it is really hard to shift into second. I keeps getting stuck in neutral. If I use my hand and give it a good yank it will go into second and ride fine in that gear, it’s shifting into second that is an issue. This happens whether I use the clutch or not and even if the engine isn’t running. I’m prepared to pull the motor and take apart the transmission but I don’t know what to look for messed up. Please help.

i would make sure your clutch is adjusted correctly and if it is you likely have a bent or worn shift fork. are you sure its a 2005. the 01 had a real problem with that but it is pretty rare in the 02 and up

I pulled the tranny apart and it is the shift fork. I want to replace them all while it’s apart but I can’t find one on the internet marked “5LP5” only ones
marked “5LP7”. One of the forks I pulled out has the 5LP7 mark I was wondering if they are both the same and can replace the 5LP5 with the 5LP7.
