So I havent read much on the yfz450 but I hear they can ride all over the raptor 660 all day long. Is this true? What am I better off getting for dune and trail riding? I figured this would be the place to find out. thanks for all the info guys.

The front end on the 660 is light, it is physically larger than the 450, the 660 does have a softer seat.
In the dunes there is no comparison between the 450 and the 660
On the trails they say the 660 is better but just change the front sprocket on the 450 and you now have all the low end lug you need.
If you're racing the unlimited class, then why stop at 660cc? Just put a street motor in it, beat all the 660ies and 450ies, and get great fuel economy!jt911 said:Not totally true. I witnessed a stock 660 destroy a 450 up Sand Mountain in Nevada everytime.
The old saying"there is no substitute for dispacement" will win.
Totally agree, just don't think a 450 will outdo a 660 on a dune hill climb.Unlukky said:Yeah get a 660 if you wanna replace the one way bearing every 2 months....the 450 is better in all aspects of riding.
I suppose that's good if you're going to wear a dress when you ride. :lol:660Ryder said:I own the 660 and a Bombardier Traxter (Step thru design
