I called quad-tech last week and they said they now have the kit available for elka shocks. $125 plus shipping.
You can get cheaper shock guards from Dixo. There atleast have the price of Quad tech's and are the same thing. I got a rear brake resivoir relocator for like $35.
they make them for pep, axis, elka.you should check ebay,do a search for dixio or carbon fiber under atv parts, they sell the exact same thing for like $40 to $50 dollars.and the ones they sell only fit elka's.
I have the Dixo ones, and the brake relocater. Throw some quadtech stickers on them, and you will never know the difference.
haha thats a good trick, does anyone have this dixo site name?
I did a search on "dixo" and came up with alot of neg. info about the company. mostely from street bike guys. It seems that the parent company of "dixo" is an importer of paint ball and mountain bike stuff. they are probably getting the carbon fiber stuff from china. It sounds like there quad stuff is ok for the price. it'll get hammered on a quad anyway, so who cares if it's real "pretty".
But I couldn't find the shock protectors. I am trying to get a "hood" for my yfz, if I can get it for under $50.
their site was dixo-carbon.com, but it switches to a mt. bike frame store now.
its under 3awholesalers on e-bay right now, I have a set and they are pretty decent, the mounts are a little sloppy but I think its becuse they are universal to fit all the Elka, Pep and Axxis shocks. I have pics of them in the pic forum.

Quad tech Shock covers for Elkas. ....$125 :scared:

Dixo Brake relo and cover..$25 :)) quality is good but not as good as Quad tech. The only difference you can see without close inspection is the logo. Quad tech cuts 4 octagon shaped logos into thier parts. dixo simply drills 4 round holes.

Sounds like they import everything. Why not support a small American company?

That is the reason ladies and gentlemen all these jobs are outsourcing, everyone wants to save a buck.
