can you do it without messing up the sprokets? like tape the teeth and all the holes?

i dont think u would be able to tape the teeth. because the powder coat gets baked on at a high temp. maybee u could get them done and remove some of the coat after?

use high temperature tape.

personally, i would get them anodized (sp?) to not risk wasting money for the powdercoat when it chips off.

Powder Coad DOES chip off. It chips off just like paint does. I powder coat LOTS of automotive and ATV parts. It's nice but it can dull easy too. I still prefer it to paint in most cases...
