I have a 2002 Yamaha Blaster (stock). And when I looked at the throttle cable today, I noticed it was split, yet still worked. Well I rode it around today, and after I let it sit to cool down and started it back up, I noticed it idled at it's normal speed for about...3 seconds, then the RPM's started rising, all while I'm about 5 ft from the Blaster. Now before this, I took it for a ride, and I pulled the clutch in while in 6th gear, and the engine raced, and raced like it didn't want to slow down. Do you guys think I need a new throttle cable?
