i have a stock banshee and it has a really light scar in the cylinder. I plan on honing it out to .010 or .020 depending on scar size. I want to put oversized rings on the stock piston. I want to order .010 or.020 oversized rings. Would this fit on the stock piston?

Take the cylinders to a machine shop and have them bore them. Dont just hone it out. A bore job is much more accurate. Make sure to chamfer the ports so the rings dont catch the port's edges too.

I agree. I remember a few years ago when I has having my motor dyno'ed and guy brought his cylinders into the shop while I was there. He had tried to do just a hone job with new rings...banshee ran for a few rides, but there was so much slop the pistons ovaled out the cylinders causing a bigger $$$ mess.
