I want to know why we have to change this gear when te one way bearing is broken???

my gear seems to be ok......

cause the surface that goes inside the bearing usually gets bumps in it witch will make the new one way not work right. thats why. to check this just run your finger over the surface and see if its rough or not, if not then its still good.

over the top of the 52 teeths???
They seems to be like the teeths of other gear........

i mean on the bushing on teh back of the gear, the part that goes inside the bearing :tup: that should be completly smooth

Here's the part of the 52T gear you need to look at

While the gear teeth may look fine the area the one way grips must be smooth, any roughness will eat the new one way.
