well here are some new pics of my head, I sent it in to get re-done..Its a big difference and I can't wait to try it out and see the difference it makes.

It was free, because I had already got porting from CP awhile back and he had a new design that would give me more low end..CP has excellent customor service.


I'll deffinitly let you guys know how it goes.

You mean like the one you, 42f ect. started in my recent thread, lol? Dont worry Blasterkid13, the people that Lowriderb is referring to are more grown up than that. BTW, I hope you enjoy your new head, nothing better than the feeling you get when a new shinney part comes in for your bike :hey:

Technically that should raise your compression back up and gain you some bottom end power back, but it will also sacrifice some of your upper rpm range, looks like he took off a 100ths + and open the chamber up for better squish, just be careful when you assemble the parts to make sure you have enough clearance between the head and the top of the cylinder :tup:

Yeh thats exactly what I needed was more bottom end and less top end..

But what do you mean "make sure you have enough clearance between the head and the of the cylinder"

I just put it on like normal with the head gasket correct.

When you take that much off the head it lowers it on the cylinder, I don't know if your cylinder has been decked, but sometimes when you take over 100ths off the head, the surfaces are very close and will ping like mad as they vibrate against each other.
