so i was wondering the stock hp for a banshee. then with t6 racing pipes and a filter. and do you think put a filter right off each carb would help in performance at all? thx for the help
Around 6-8 is about right .....what changed on ur 97 was the usable power band or curve. I'm sure u noticed a change from low to mid response and a sharper throttle plus that great sound ... 6- 8 is still about a 20% increase in power so yes it will feel like a new machine. Add a adj timing plate with a couple of degree advance and 93 octane and a 12 --14 hp is what u will hit to complete ur package.....
I'm running the t6s with a couple mm bigger keihin carbs with v4 reeds and the box with no lid and a k&n. it all depends on what kinda riding you do hill climbing and woods riding even sandy terrain nothing touches it. I love the mid range power. If u have the means to do so get you a 1 tooth bigger and 1 tooth smaller front sprocket don't forget the casing saver you will be surprised what 1 tooth on the front sprocket will do.check your spark plug boots and connections from time to time never hurts.
