I was wondering what year my blaster is. Whats do the serail numbers mean.

Do you have the title? If so it will be on there. If you dont have the title and someone reports a missing Blaster that looks like yours you could lose it.

there will be 2 numbers before the last 4 numbers in the serial.

If its 00 its a 2000 model, etc.

I had that happen to me some one reported a 01 300ex stolen that was all stock. And since we are making payments on it we have not got the title yet and they tried to take my bike away but we got our registration sticker and ever thing. And mine was not even stock. :s96: Then a kid said his banshee was stolen and he did not even have one he sat there and listed his dream quad then they found one like it and ask him if it was his bike. His mother asked whos 4 wheeler it was and he got in big trouble. :lol:

Also i had a manual that said the serial # and year i think it was a clymers my dad gave it to the people that bought my blaster

I don't think that's the way it works. If that were true, then mine would be a 1950's model. BlasterCentral used to have an article on how to tell the model year by looking at a letter in the VIN. I can't remember how it worked though.

My engine’s number is 3JM-378700 any help with the year and model. I was told it’s a 2006 Blaster 250
