Anyone use the automotive high temp engine paint on their motors? I was thinking of painting the jug and head. Will it work?

My motor was painted with PJ1 motor paint. It didn't hold up to Aledo TX mud :bk: I wouldn't paint a quad motor again, it's a pain to keep looking nice. I have my side cases, jug, and head out for polishing right now. I'm keeping the main cases black but everywhere else will be polished.

But you don't normally wash the engine in the car wash
if you live in any state that uses salt on the roads in the winter you do.

douplicolor's anidozed metal cast paint is 500 degree paint. good enough for an engine. Pretty sweet in color too.

I was going to paint the jug and head red, and polish the fins on the head. I see I will not be the first to polish the fins on the head. I don't think that I will polish too much, as keeping it clean will be a hassel.
