I've been seeing a lot of posts concering tire size and rim size.

Here's how to tell if a certain tire will fit on your rim
---------------------------------------------------------
Here is what the "numbers" of the tire mean:
Height X Width X Rim Size

As long as the tire's last number which is the rim size is the same as the size rim your trying to install the tire on it will fit.

If the tires rim size is smaller or larger then the rim your trying to install the tire on it will not fit.

For Example:
I have a tire that is 20x11x9 will this fit my 9" rim?

Yes, it will fit your rim because the last number of the tire size 20x11x9 is the same as your rim size (9").
---------------------------------------------------------

I have another tire that is 20x11x10 will this fit my 8" rim?

No, this tire will not fit your rim because the last number of the tire size 10 is not the same number as your rim size (8")
---------------------------------------------------------

Hope this cleared up "What Tire will fit my rim" issue.
