I have an old Arctic Cat Jag 340 snowmobile that...um...died. Never worked worth shit. So I pretty much totalled it. Ran over it with my friends atv and stuff  . I busted the engine up and whatever. Was never going to work again..
Anyway. I also have an old big bear that needs alot of work to make workable again. Brakes, bolts, tires, hubs, 4x4 system, joints, driveshaft.....etc.

I was thinking of popping the engine out and putting it in my snowmobile frame and steering with the ski's and rigging it up for wheels in the back to mess with in the winter.

You guys think it would work? What type of work would I be looking at?

Sorry, I am really bored and need something to mess with

Why not just put the skis off the sled onto your quad, seems like it would be a little easier.

Thats cool. But I was going to rip the old engine out as it useless, and lower my big bear engine into the hood and somehow mount it up then stuff my driveshaft down. I would probally need a longer shaft.

Now that Pokey suggested it, I'm thinking about sticking the ski's on the big bear.

I think it would be easier too. HMMMmm
