The clutch wont engage even if i pull the lever by hand.
i took the stator off and in doing so i spun the rod ... would thay cause it to disconnect it or mess it up so it wont engage??


When i screw the springs ba k on it cause them to come to the front of the basket and stick to each other, hpw do i fix this or is that suspose to happen??

My issue is when i screw the springs on they cause all the plates to come close together near the front of the basket and stick em all together.
got a video uploading now to show it if you cant understand what im saying

When you install the springs and tighten it down it should get tight, the springs are what put pressure on the pressure plate to engage the clutch and being in neutral has nothing to do with it.
When you pull the clutch lever in the pressure plate should push out against the springs and disengage the clutch.

Alright thats what i thought.
what i think is happening is its either slipping(the gear that pushes the bolt with the bearing isnt making contact) or im not sure what else. ive got it all apart now, changed clutch basket and im gonna try to figure out whats up with it later.
