I have a 2007 yfz450 and it will not idle. The book says take it to the dealer because it takes a special tool. Does anyone know what this tool is or where is the idle screw is hidden???? Thanks

Standing on the left side on the quad, look at the carb- on the rear side of the carb there is a black knurled knob. Turn the knob clockwise to increaes your idle and counterclockwise to lower the idle.

yeah i also read that in the book, it think the tol they are talkin about is a tach or something so they know the rpms

Thanks for the info but the 07 does not have the knurled knob. took it to the dealer.They are close and will take care of it..Thanks again..

they all have the same carb, it has an idle adjuster, you didnt see it, its on the back of the carb, up high, under the plastics...

Yeah there's one. I have an 08 and it's there.
