2007 Razor 700r i found

I found a silver 2007 razor 700r for sale. 400$. Guy says his kid ran it with no oil and motor blew. I have general experience with atv mechanics. Does this seem worth the time?

if you can build the motor your self maybe. looks like you can get an engine kit for around 700 and between 600 and 700 for the cases if you need both sides, so under 1500 for the motor. i would plan on another 400 for things you find when you tear it down. ie prake pads, sprockets chain etc. so for plus or minus 2400 bucks you can have a fuel injected raptor. in my area depending on the day that is a 4500 to 5000 dollar machine. you will also need a case splitter and crank installer, i got the pair off ebay for 130 so depending on how much of this kind of work you do you may need to factor that. also budget 30 bucks for the clymer manual. it is tons better that the factory one. at the end of the day if you dont mess anything up it is a win.

When you put razor instead of raptor, you look very stupid on a "professional" forum. Get real dumbass.

Got this in a pm. Roadwarrior. If you thought this was a professional forum, you would know the difference between a razor and a raptor. One is used to shave your face, the other is a quad. How stupid can one be? FYI, it is also a Polaris RZR, not a Polaris Razor. Don't be so stupid next time on a professional forum.
