Carb vent hose ? For a pro to answer

Man I just got my fuel tank in after putting in my stage 2 dynojet kit setting everything perfect to realize I didnít put the carb vent hose. Is this hose really needed? Is it cool while I finish tweeting it in. I got some Vito air fuel screws to. Just donít want take it apart again. Lol

it wont hurt to tune it with out the hose but you will need to install it before you ride. without it you increase your risk of getting dirt in your freshly rebuilt carbs and if you tip it over or jostling it around you could drain fuel on hot parts and burn her to the ground.

I've run without it for years but it is a good idea to put it back on to keep out water when crossing rivers. It also prevents the gas vapor from evaporating as quickly which can lead to crystalized fuel powder.
