Parking brake

I have a 2001 Raptor 660. I took off my Parking brake and put the block off on. The parking brake sensor up near the clutch stayed on. So it bogged down. I pushed it in and tied it off with zip ties. That is a hack way of doing it. Plus in a few weeks I am going to replace the clutch lever and perch. How can I get rid of that sensor without screwing up my lights and ATV? Thanks Allen
