350 warrior high comp piston

I have a question. Can i take a JE high comp piston 13:1(came out of my old warrior been setting for montha) and put it in a spare warrior i have without doing any cam mods or anything else. Basically stock everything and drop the JE piston in it????? Would it run fine. Timing would be issue?

my guess is it would run but why would you do that you would not notice any difference and you would have to run expensive gas
