Question 2002 350 Warrior Timing cam

Hi !!

i'm reinstalling the top end engine at this moment on a 2002 350 Warrior and i'm not able to put the chain cam at it's place on the top end. the timing on both place is on point but it's like the chain is too short to screw the cam at is place. I didn't replace the chain or any thing. It miss like 1/8 inch to fit it. the top end is correctly in place and torque. Anyone can help me ? I was thinking it will be a fast an easy job to reinstall it but it's not the case lol.

thank you in advance for your help

Just watch a video of the engine and the chain guide isn't in the same side of the engine plan I have. So I think it's the problem. The top end is not completely at his place??!!

you have to put the chain on the cam before you bolt the cam down and rock it all into place

Yes I did that but I'm not able to put the cam with the chain on at its place. I will try to replace it tomorrow.

did you loosen the tensioner? make sure the chain is engaged/meshed with the crank gear and that it is not sitting on top of the teeth
