I recently acquired a '98 warrior, for its age it's in decent shape. However it only gets spark when the key is in the off position. I've replaced the key switch ,checked both starter relays and the new key switch lol. So at this point I'm lost, witch brought me here. It seems to always be drawing power.
Anyone have any ideals on witch way to go next
I have a similar problem, I just got a 1998 Grizzly. The machine starts if I touch the positive cable to the battery, but will not start using the key/switch. It acts like there is an open circuit as once it starts if I continue to touch the battery lead to the battery, it will grind the starter.
my guess would be a short in the harness somewhere, pull the harness out and check it end to end seems to happen a lot in warriors
