Raptor 250 keeps killing batery

I own a 08 raptor 250, and I am having battery issues. With atv running at full rpm I am getting no more than 14.5 volts. Is this too much, I'm pretty sure that is right on point. Any way it keeps burning up brand new batteries. The battery will hold a charge over time just fine, then after a few hrs of riding it wont start with starter only bump start, then the battery is so shot it wont even bump start. Does any one have any suggestions?

14.5 is too much you need to replace the rectifier and probably the stator. dont be tempted by the cheap ones on ebay use ricky stator or ricks motor sports 13.5 to 13.8 is about all a 12 volt battery can take.
