Not sure if timing chain is tight or not I can’t really remember what it was like before doing valve clearances so I’m kind of skeptical to put it back together if the cam chain is loose. Going to post a picture of how loose it is as well. Also it seems that the cam chain is hovering over some of the teeth on the intake side and that added another Worry when putting this atv back together. Left is how loose the cam chain is with the tensioner in and right is the chain “ hovering “ over the teeth, could I be installing the tensioner or something wrong? Real stumped on this one

that is too loose but you back the screw out on the tensioner to make it tighter if memory serves. it is a spring loaded tensioner and turning the screw in unloads it.

Managed to get it tight but I’m now not sure if timing is right I can’t seem to get the intake done to go completely level with the head and the exhaust cam seems like it’s a bit under the head. I’ve heard the amount of pins between the timing marks is 14 and that’s how many are there but I don’t want to put it back together incorrectly.
