It's a 2002 Yamaha warrior 350 not a blaster.

I am probably annoying the hell out of you but the arm on the motor will move all the way forward and not go any farther up, I am riding it without the clutch now trying to figure it out, if I'm in 2nd or 3rd and pull it the clutch it will rev higher than with the clutch out, but doesn't fully disengage the clutch fully. The cables a cheap 12 dollar amazon one because I had a ride that weekend and wanted it kinda quick, I am going to change the oil again and see if that does anything, that fixed my 400ex when I had a issue similar. Otherwise I may try to move the arm back a couple notches.

I didn't take the arm off , I left everything on the rig, the arm moves all the way until it maxes out and cant move any more. I am now getting a little bit of clutch action when I pull it in all the way but not how it was. I stalled it really hard while I was jerking clutch trying to get started on the hill when the cable broke. So I am temped to take off the c clip on the arm and see if I can adjust it any other wise I know it will be due for a new clutch since it has never had it done before

Warrior350_02 OK so I don't know how to post my own thread on this site. But I figured if people know the same issue that I am having why not see if I can get a solution.
Here's my issue. I was out for a ride and a I pulled in the clutch and broke the cable. Now with the new cable it feels like there is absolutely nothing there, the little arm that the cable goes to moves, and the shaft that the arm connects to moves. But the clutch doesn't engage, quad was shifting and the clutch would pull in and engage but now I lost it. Haven't had it apart or anything and have never had a issue.

Pokey Make sure you are following the service manual that I am sure you downloaded!!!!

fortune46x there is a ball bearing that goes in before the rode goes into the shaft check to see that it is in there - its happend to me a few times because it falls out very easily and then you can pull the clutch and it won't work

trailboss why is it so hard to part with 30-35.00 for a repair manual, but so easy to part with 30.00 for a friggin degree key??

blasterboy88 Theres one plate that is smaller and it has a lock ring type thing that does in the middle of it

edge I just put a new barnett clutch in my blaster last fall, and I never noticed any clutch plates that were thicker.

gti52 Thats what I thought until I replaced the clutch in my nephews blaster. After repeatedlt trying to get it to fully release, I gave up and took it to a local mechanic. I stood there and watched him fix it, took like 5 minuites, and he showed it to me. It was a barnett clutch though, so maybe thats the difference.
