RMW's Billet Banshee "Flame" Pipe Hangers

The OEM exhaust pipe hangers that come on the Yamaha Banshee do a fine job of retaining the exhaust system to the frame while also keeping vibration to a minimum, but as we found out, they won't last for the life of the machine for sure, and will eventually need to be replaced. Ours lasted until we added an aftermarket exhaust system, then everything fell apart...literally. After deciding we didn't want the stock units again, our internet search brought us to RMWBillet.com, where we found what we were looking for! Without hesitation, we placed our order for their "Flame" pipe hangers, one of two designs offered by them.

We received them quickly as expected, and after opening the package realized that they look even better than the pictures we've seen. Besides having a hot 3D flame design and being polished to a mirror-finish, the CNC-machined pieces are made from 6061-T6 aluminum, and come with all mounting hardware; four stainless steel allen-head bolts, two rubber grommets, and two nylon washers. The threads of the bolts come with a compound already applied to the tips of them, which helps keep the bolt tight so you don't have to over-tighten them, which would result in poor vibration dampening. They also come with easy to read instructions.

Installation was quick and easy, taking about 2 minutes per side, but make sure you read the instructions first so everything is placed in the correct position. It's pretty straight forward, but some might get confused as to exactly where the nylon washer should be placed. They definitley feel stronger than stock, and hold everything together much tighter, while also reducing vibration. After a day of riding they never became loose, and we see no reason why they would in the future. Cleaning is accomplished easily with just a little aluminum polish and a dry cloth.

The RMW Banshee "Flame" pipe hangers couldn't look better cosmetically, perform the way they should, and are priced very well at $49.99 per pair.
