| MSR's "Raptor" adjustable clutch lever assembly made for most all ATVs looked to be a promising unit before being purchased, but I would not recommend it unless you can't afford a better quality piece. I bought one for my Raptor from Rocky Mountain ATV and paid $33.25 for it. When I finally received it and opened the box, I could tell right away it was an inferior product. The installation wasn't as simple as one might think, at least mine wasn't. It was very hard to get the clutch cable into the adjustable mechanism on the new lever. I had to set everything up in the assembly and then mount it to the bars. Doing it any other way felt like it was going to break from the stress of the clutch cable. Upon tightening the MSR perch on to the handlebars the clamping bracket broke right in my hands. I wound up using the clamp from a Ducati motorcycle I had laying around which was much stronger. If you run into the same problem you can pretty much use any clamp from another perch as long as its the right size for your bars. The MSR unit has three different pull choices; easy, medium, and hard. I tried the easy one and didn't see any difference from stock. MSR also makes this clutch lever in standard and shorty lengths. The standard (used here) is no where near the standard length of a clutch lever, and I can only use 2 fingers to pull it in. I was expecting this from the shorty lever, and not the standard lever. If I try to use anymore fingers it's very uncomfortable. I also didn't like the angle it puts the clutch lever at, which is a 45 degree angle in relation to the handlebars. About the only thing this clutch lever is good for is its looks in my opinion. It looks good from far, but it's far from good.
