If you're like most of us, you love trick billet aluminum parts, and know how addicting they can be. Regardless, you need every piece of aluminum made for your ATV, no matter how much it lightens your wallet. Our filter cover arrived the week after we placed our order, and after opening the box, we immediately loved the attractive looks of it. The aluminum is very shiny, and the cover comes with two o-rings already seated in machined grooves on the inside. The o-rings are actually what keeps the cover attached to the oil filter. No instructions were included since it's pretty straight-forward, but it did come with a very eye-catching decal! One can never have too many decals on their ATV, right?

Installation takes a whole 5 seconds; just slip it on over the oil filter, and voila! As stated before, the two o-rings hold it in place very tight, and after some good ride-time, the cover never rattled, and more importantly, was still there at the end of the day. Now, the filter cover will only fit stock-sized oil filters, so if you have an aftermarket filter, you should check the width dimensions before placing your order. To remove the filter cover, simply pull it off straight with a touch of elbow grease.
