For all you Banshee owners looking to protect your engine case from the drive chain, Custom Innovations, the makers of some great case savers for Raptors, now makes them for your machine! The CNC-machined nylon piece is one-inch thick and comes with three stainless steel allen head bolts for mounting. Installation is easy; after removing your stator side cover, clean the entire area surrounding the sprocket then simply remove the three phillips-head screws located under the sprocket. Position the case saver in front of the sprocket, and fasten using the three allen head bolts provided. This couldn't get any easier, but if you use a stock stator side cover, you will need to remove the piece from the cover that sticks out into the sprocket housing. You can use up to a 15-tooth front sprocket with the case saver. These case savers are very strong, and we are positive that they will reduce or eliminate the possibility of damage to the engine case in the event of a drive chain breaking or losing contact with the rear sprocket. They cost $50 from Custom Innovations, or if you're lucky, you just might get a deal on one from their auctions on Ebay. We feel it's a small price to pay to have so much protection, and like their Raptor case savers, they also include a guarantee for as long as you own them. If you have any further questions, feel free to phone them at (606)782-3245 or (606)845-2432. | ![]() ![]() Quality: ![]() Performance: ![]() Installation: ![]() Value: ![]() Overall: ![]() Scale: 1=terrible, 2=poor, 3=fair, 4=very good, 5=excellent |
