Bog from idle

I have a fully stock 07 YFZ450, with a bog and dies when I hit wot from idle but i can ease into it (done in neutral). I have done the zip tie mod with the AP. Throughly cleaned the jets. Only thing I can figure is either the AP isn't working properly or the TPS isn't working. Would the TPS cause this to happen? Also last year the bike would randomly idle really high and I would have the adjust accordingly. Seemed to always had to keep adjusting the idle. Really don't want to change out jets and stuff, just want to keep stock if possible. Thanks in advance!!!

Take the airbox boot off the back of the carb, apply full throttle while looking into the back of the carb (engine off!). You should see a small stream of gasoline come out of the brass stem sticking up and squirting forward into the engine. Erratic idle speeds are a sign of a lean condition. Have you drilled you pilot adjustment screw limiter cap out to access the pilot screw? The jets can be brand new but if the passage in the carb is blocked your issue will remain. The fuel inlet to the AP in the float bowl could be blocked as well. All the 450's dbikes and 4wheelers could use a half turn out on the pilot screw when they come out of the crate in my opinion.

Just took the airbox off and i hit the throttle and did NOT see any stream come out so i guess its clogged? Going to take the carb off again and concentrate in that area now.....

You got it viper. Go ahead and richen the pilot screw too while your at it and you'll have a whole new machine! You may be able to loosen the clamps and turn the carb sideways a bit and get the bowl off without removing the whole carb. You can on the YZ anyway.

Take you pilot screw (mixure screw) all the way out. Take your slow jet out. Push an E string through the jet and spray carb cleaner though all the related passages. litely seat the pilot screw then back it out 2 to 2.5 turns. Make sure you don't lose the small washer and oring off the pilot screw.

In what order does the oring/washer go back on the mixture screw??? Oring first or washer first?
