Default hmf head pipe warpage?

So I have a 2004 yfz450 with the hmf bill ballance pro full exhaust system. It didnt come with a heat sheild so instead of ordering I wrapped the head pipe with exhaust wrap. I rode once then removed. I am pretty sure the first foot of pipe is warped now. My question is should i be concerned? Should I replace? Thanks.

if you are warping the pipe, then it is getting way to hot which means you are to lean. Rejet the carb richer based on your mods and altitude and replace the head pipe.

Before and after the bend, the tube is out of round. I know I was a little lean.
