Default Clutch adjustment?

I just put a new barnett clutch in my 04 YFZ,now my clutch lever is half slack before it gets tension. What can I adjust to fix this? Can the arm on the motor be adjusted? Thanks

you can take the arm off, and move it over a few teeth, but i would try to take the slack out on your cables first. adjust each end out, and there is even an extra adjustment in the middle of the cable to lengthen it a little bit...

Like Level said, try to adjust it out in the cable. If that doesn't work, then put it back to the way it was, and then turn the rod so that it is touching the pressure plate, then back it off one tooth, and then fine tune it with the cable adjustments.

Thanks guys,I didnt see you could adjust the cable in the middle. I lengthened that and it tightened right up!
