Default 450 wont start in gear!

Ok, here is what is going on. I put on a Pro Design Tether Kill Switch. Now that I did, if I kill my quad it will not start in gear, any suggestions on what I need to look for!

did you mess with the wires coming out of the clutch perch?if you did you will need to splice them together to be able to start in gear.

definitely check there. There is a clear connector inside of the black rubber cover that controls starting in gear. Make sure that connection is good and everything should work correctly. Of course if you crossed some wires, they would be the next question.

just my thoughts, i had that same problem, fixed the connection, no more problems

That was the problem, when I mounted on my bars I must of just moved it enough to unplug, all i did was loosen up and reposition a little and it all works.

great to hear you got it fixed. it sucks having to get in neutral to start.
