Dirt Bike Magazine Test - YFZ450 vs YZ450F

In the new issue of Dirt Bike Magazine they test a YFZ450 and the YZ450F motocross bike. They were very suprised how compatative the quad was against the bike. They said that in some areas of the motocross track that they tested the bikes on that the quad was faster. There overall conclusion was that the two were eual except in some jumping situations.

YA, he was...

WBWarrior - Yes, the YZ450F was the one that jumped better, but that is basically it. The YZ turned better laps times by a little, but not enough to say it is the obvious better bike. Dirtbikes are still better racers out of the box, but not by much. Give quads a few more years and the quads will be running with the dirtbikes no problem...
