it does this only when i am facing up a littil hill and am in gear holding the clutch handel in while revving it it will slowly bounce and then all of the sudden it will take off still having the lever in . anyideas.

Might need a pancake bearing installed. mine did that and come to find out my bearing was welded to the push rod. also i run type F in my drag bike.

u lost me.. pancake bearing what is that? and push rod do you mean the bolt on the out side in the center of the cluch basket that adjust the clutch tension or do u mean the connecting rod on the crank wich i cant see having to do anything with the clutches.

tedd hit it on the head.
clutch adjuster/actuater
the bearing and adjuster tend to weld each other together due to heat. i guess its real common on banshees with a lil more hp then normal. if you know what you are doing with the motor then its a cheap fix if not you will have to pay labor charges on getting it done. but the bearing is only like 30.00 bucks.

I just recently had one put in mine cause mine welded itself together. If this is your problem then this will fix it. are the bearing and adjuster stuck together?

If the bearing and the rod(IE adjuster) are stuck together then they welded themselves due to heat. a pancake bearing or another adjuster set will do the trick.

does the grabbing go away after the bike it warmed up? if that is the case then they are warped clutch disks. But other then they just try to adj the clutch. My .02 on the fluid is I use Type F ATF. I have pulled my motor twice already from last year for mods and the trans looks like new. you will have to change the ATF fluild more but I like it better then any other oil in there. after all it is a trans. And ATF was made for a trans.
