New "Cub" Cylinders are coming out

I forsee lots and lots of stock cylinders on ebay soon. The new Cheetah Cub Cylinders are going out to various engine builders to be tested right now and they are starting to report great dyno numbers.

This dyno is comparing the cubs to the stock jugs for 4mm stroker, Toomey T-5 Pipes, stock 26mm carbs. on gas. I understand that these are rwhp figures.

I'm very close to ordering a set, just trying to decide how many other goodies to get at the same time.

the cheetah cub cylinders are cheetah cylinders for the smaller bore/stroke motors, unlike the cheetah's they dont come with intakes, head, power vavles, you are just getting the cylinders and pistons.. and using the rest of your stock (aftermarket stock cylinder) parts..

the dyno numbers that are shown are supposed to be with a 4mm stroker also.. there are more printouts on a&s's webside i think its bansheeracing.com

i dont see how just a different piston and cylinder can make that much hp. .using stock exhaust, intake, carbs , all that crap.

the port lay outs on cheetas are far superior to the stockers, they won t make that much more hp with the stock parts.they are not meant to be used with stock parts, they are meant to be used with the top of the line aftermarket parts, meant to squeeze every pony out of them.

like nyuk said they port layout is much better than the stock cylinders making it possible for more power..

i was implying in my other post that you would not need to buy any specialized parts to fit the cheetah cub cylinders, your new set of vforce reeds (ect..) will fit these cylinders with no problems.
