Oil still leaks from shifter after replacing seal

I replaced my shifter shaft and seal because I had a leak from the shifter. The damn thing still leaks ! It looks to be leaking from the inside seal that goes around the shaft not from the case. Any suggestions to getting this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible that you damaged the seal during installation? How did the shaft look?

The shaft that i took out was bent slightly and had a groove worn in it from the seal. Hence why I replaced the shaft. I will however try one more seal and see what happens after that I give up.
