my blaster does 103mph. haha yea right. you learn real fast in this sport that people put up a lot of crap. i have a neighbor that says his stock warrior does 76mph when i smoked him with my blaster which does somewhere near 400ex range(seriously this time). other people say one guy has a a 120mph shee........yep i bet. another kid said his stock 400ex does 78mph even though i can stay right with him and im guessing im about 67-68. people need to realize that alot of this is not true. my friend has a 97 shee with toomey T5 kit. i clocked him one time at 76mph in my car(same thing i used to clock myself and my friends. i believe it could of gone another mph or 2 faster yet though. id say a stock shee is in the 71-74mph vicinity. just remember that no matter how much they talk i can always follow my quote. "when the flag drops the bull$hit stops"

You people must have crapply tuned quads if your hitting 75 with pipes, cause people around here are doing 100+ mph and have been GPSed and also use there shees to trail ride. I'd say after pipes you are going to do 80 then after that the skys the limit.

75 with pipes doesn't mean anything. Tire size and gearing make a big difference. Maybe those that go 75 with pipes are geared lower for woods???? It doens't mean they are crappy.

Besides, the question was what was the top speed of a STOCK Banshee.

Piped I hit 82 with stock gearing, BTW. Haven't checked lately on the newer Banshee or the older one since I added more stuff.

You should post a pic of one those 100+ MPH GPS clocked Banshees.

i had CPI in-frames,shaved head, tuned stock carbs and a air filter and ran 98mph in the 1/4 backin off half throttle when in 6th gear cause not enough gear. Hopefully be runnin 6.10's in the 1/8 next year somewhere around 95-100mph

what i would like to know is what gears the guys going over 90 are using.if you say stock or a 15 tooth front than you are full of shit.IT AIN `T HAPPENING.it s almost physically impossible to do it with short gears.heres a gear calculator.this doesn t factor in wind resistance and all the other factors that take place at close to 100mph.

Don't worry, cuz when they use this and it tells them how fast they really can go they're just goin to say that this thing is wrong.

Its funny how much people will argue and worry about how fast it can go when the main thing that determines top speed is a 15 dollar sprocket. Personally I don't care how fast your quad can go, the only thing that could possibly impress me is actually acceleration, aka quarter/eighth mile times. And to the original poster, if you're going to base a decision on which quad to buy by the top speed, please due everyone a favor and get something which is more suitable to you, like a walmart bicycle.
