2001 yamaha blaster locked up

I just got a 2001 yamaha blaster and i think the engine is locked up this is my 2nd bike and i heard it was a good one for the money i payed($300) but how do i find out wats worng with it

man, give more information does it kick atleast? have you tried pullstarting it?

dude ha blaster doesnt have a pull start and hey well yeh does it kick or what will it start and not move what thaha u gotta give me some info

Im not trying to start any trouble or talk sh** but you can't start an atv that has a blown up piston.

Im not trying to start any trouble or talk sh** but you can't start an atv that has a blown up piston.
mine could be started with a chunk of the piston missing and no rings on one side oh , and running 30psi of compression

Ewww, you guys are sharp, no manners...
I didn't get the pull-starting thing either. We would call that a tow start.
Different cultural reference...

I have had several 2-strokes that made it home with no perceptible compression.
Rings broken or stuck, overheated or water drowned. A little push down a hill and away they go!
The ultimate "get home" machine.

To the original poster. You gotta take it apart if it is locked up.
Engine or transmission, someone has to dive in to find out.

probably needs piston and rings possibly cylinder . easy to check take off cylinder and see whats going on
