Default Blaster Tires

Hey - ok I'm no tire expert so need some guidance.
Have an '01 Blaster - stock tires and rims - the Rear stock size is 21x10x8.
Need new rear tires. Does the new tire have to end in 10x8 to fit the stock rim? I know the last digit (8) is the rim diameter and that is a must but is the middle number (10) which is the width also required size to fit the stock rim?
Lastly any suggestions on a tire - trail riding for sport play only. Was thinking Razr2's -- they have ok puncture resistance?

Thanks - I went with the 20's -- So far so great.
In retrospect I wish I would have gotten a tire rim combo and went up to a larger rim size -- the side wall is too big aesthetically. Something else -- the Yamaha dealer wanted like $20/tire ($80) to take off the old tires and put on the new ones, the Honda dealer in my area wanted $15 a tire. Ended up a a tire shop for cars and they did it for $6/tire....
